Local knowledge
Working in Cheshunt
Cheshunt grew along the Cambridge road and the Lea Navigation: the old village core around Churchgate keeps its Georgian and Victorian cottages, while most of the town is interwar semis and postwar estates running down to the valley floor. Newer stock has filled the former glasshouse land, the nursery sites west of the A10, and canalside flats keep going up around Cheshunt station and the Old Pond.
The supply here comes off the Lea Valley chalk, so the water is properly hard and limescale is the standing enemy: shower screens, kettles, electric shower heads. Being twenty-five minutes from Liverpool Street, the town is full of commuter lets and station-side rentals, which keeps our end-of-tenancy diary busy year round.
Chalk-hard water
The Lea Valley supply scales screens, taps and kettles fast. We bring the descalers and budget the dwell time limescale actually needs, not a quick wipe.
Fixed prices, not teaser rates

Questions
Common questions in Cheshunt
Is the end of tenancy price really fixed?
Yes: fixed by property size and agreed before we start. A studio is £156, a one-bed £207, up to £425 for four bedrooms. Carpets and ovens are priced separately because not everyone needs them.
Why is limescale such a battle here?
The supply comes off the Lea Valley chalk, so the water is properly hard. Scale on shower screens, taps and kettles takes longer to shift than people expect, worst on electric shower heads, so we budget real dwell time for it rather than a quick wipe.
Do you do move-out cleans for commuter lets?
Constantly. Cheshunt and Waltham Cross are twenty-five minutes from Liverpool Street, so station-side rentals change hands all year. We work to the agent's checklist, and if they pick fault with something we cleaned, we come back free.
Which areas do you actually cover?
The whole EN7/EN8 parish: Cheshunt itself, Waltham Cross, Goffs Oak, Flamstead End and Rosedale, plus Turnford, Wormley and Broxbourne up the A10, Cuffley on the ridge, and Waltham Abbey across the river. If you're just outside, ring us; we usually still come.
Do you charge extra for evenings or weekends?
No. We work seven days, 8am to 8pm, at the same rates. We bring our own machines and materials, so there's nothing for you to supply either.
